Will feed two to three people served with a chunk of crusty sourdougand a crisp, green salad. Or lengthen it out with a little of our beef or chicken broth.

Ingredients: lamb shoulder, pearl barley, brown onions, carrots, celery, cavalo nero, garlic, fennel seeds, fresh thyme, rosemary and bay leaves and lemon zest.
