This is Two Goods for $5.00!
The first Good: pay $5.00 and you go into the draw to win a gorgeous organic Belted Galloway hide valued at $1,950! Each hide is about 2.6 m x 2.1 m. Find out more about these gorgeous Belted Galloway hides.
The second Good: we'll use proceeds from the raffle to add to our annual contribution to the Two Good Foundation's Christmas Feast at St Canice's Church Soup Kitchen on 19th December. We've been supporting the Two Good Foundation since 2010 and each year we contribute to the annual Christmas soup kitchen dinner, served to about 80 people. The feast includes a spit-roasted lamb, hams and lots of other lovely food and the diners will be serenaded by the Sydney Street Choir.
The more raffle tickets you buy, the more we'll be able to offer the soup kitchen guests at Christmas dinner.
Please note, your order number is your raffle ticket number so keep your order confirmation email somewhere safe. The winning ticket will be drawn at a special ceremony around the barbecue at Feather and Bone at 2.00 pm on Saturday 22 December.
Two Good Foundation & Feather and Bone
Rob Caslick, the person who started Two Good, first approached us in 2010 with an irresistible and compelling proposal. The way he saw it, the best food was going to well-fed people and the people on the margins who were most in need had the least access to high quality, nutritious food. He wanted to turn the tables on this equation and give people in need the very best, most nutritious food he could find, which is where we came in.
Since 2010, we've been supporting Two Good's various projects, including supplying meat for the weekly Two Good St Canice's soup kitchen and for cooking classes for teenage mothers at shelters. Over the last ten years, Two Good has grown from strength to strength. Rob has been joined by a growing team of talented dynamos including the wonderful Vanessa Watson and Angie Sceats who runs the Two Good kitchen training programme for women in domestic violence shelters who are looking for work. We're pleased to say we've recently hired our first Two Good kitchen graduate as a packer at our butchery.
