Seasonal, chemical-free Padron (green) and Poblano (red) chillies grown by Glenora Heritage Produce and pickled by us here at the 'Ville. Long, fruity flavour with a lovely, moderately hot finish.
Delicious accompaniment to stews, braises, poke bowls, sandwiches, burgers, eggs... most things, really.
Padron chillies are mild and fruity but one in every 10 or so is surprisingly hot - they're the Russian Roulette fruit of the chilli world. Poblano chillies (also known as Ancho chillies when they're dried) are also mild, but the mature, red ones are quite hot.
Ingredients: white vinegar, padron and pablone chillies, sugar and salt.
