Next day deliveries, more locations!
You spoke, we listened, and then we did something about it.
Recently we asked you wonderful people to fill out a survey telling us what you thought about us. You were very interesting and candid and, mostly, extremely kind. Thank you again.
One thing that came up A LOT was the request for more frequent delivery days and locations. So, as your obedient servants, we scuttled off and got to work.
Now we go nearly everywhere in Sydney, five days a week!
Gone are those pesky 'oh, we only deliver to you once a week on Friday' zones and those 'sorry, we don't deliver there' postcodes.
It works like this:
- place your order, before midday (if you want it the next day);
- select the day you want to receive your order;
- pay $12.50 delivery, wherever you are in Sydney;
- we pack your order, seal the box, and off it goes.
How do we do it?
We do deliveries, but we're not, and don't want to be, a logistics business. However our neighbours, Doorstep Organics, run a business delivering all over Sydney every day. So, a few years ago we teamed up and they started delivering to some of our customers' further flung locations. When we realised it was time to up our delivery game, it made total sense to expand that existing relationship.
So your Feather and Bone order will prepared and packed by us, but the box will now be delivered in a Doorstep Organics truck.
Returning boxes
If you're home when we deliver, the Doorstep drivers will happily take back the box and return it to us, just as we do now. Alternatively you can leave your last box out and they'll pick it up when they deliver the next order.
The benefits of increased delivery options for our customers outweighs our regret at not being able to deliver to you all personally, and we believe this is going to be a real improvement for many customers.
